Environmental considerations for Property owners and Small Businesses:

EMS provides quality investigations and cost effective solutions in management and removal of asbestos containing materials (ACM) in all settings. We have the ability to accomplish asbestos projects of any size and complexity, from initial planning through final documentation.

Most buildings constructed prior to 1978 are likely to contain some lead based paint. Comprehensive lead paint inspections and risk assessments can be provided for housing projects, schools, facilities, developers, attorneys and potential home/building buyers. Additional services include: Project Design, Lead Abatement, Consulting and Contracting, as well as providing expert testimony on behalf of clients in litigation involving lead contamination and/or poisoning.

We are able to provide NYS/NYC approved Asbestos Safety Training, EPA Region 2 approved Lead Based Paint Training and OSHA required Safety and Environmental Health Training.

The Laboratory is approved by State-Department of Health Environmental Lab Program and Federal National Voluntary Lab Accreditation Program, to perform lead paint and asbestos analysis for both air and bulk material  samples. EMS utilizes other experienced and certified laboratories to provide specialty analytical services for materials, soil, water, and air.
